Zedrick Applin currently serves as the Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Community at nCino. In this role, he is in charge of setting corporate DEI strategy for the organization, as well as managing all philanthropic and community service efforts. Originally from Dallas, TX, Zedrick moved to Wilmington in February 2019 with his family as Global Head of Compliance for nCino’s suite of product offerings. He transitioned into this role after seeing a need for full-time focused efforts around this area for the company. Zedrick has spent his 17 year career in the financial services industry, serving in a variety of capacities from government oversight to a senior officer at some of the largest global banking organizations. He earned his Bachelors of Business Administration at Texas Tech University and his Masters of Business Administration from Baylor University. In addition to his profession, Zedrick is also an avid member in Wilmington’s community theater scene.  He has performed in shows for both Thalian Association and Snow Productions, and performed in a television show on Disney+ entitled “Encore!”.  Zedrick also serves as a member of the 100 Black Men of America’s Eastern NC Chapter and as a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
